Working on a way out a ladder for the let down
Dropping all there was to catch
Tapping on the counter angles for the rounder
Anything that makes you laugh, you love it till it finds a crack


You love it till it answers back
You love it till it sets a trap
And realize it took you off the map
You love it till it stops the ride
Till the family histories collides
You thought that it would save your life
Now you see it’s gonna let you die
Verse 3 – E picking thing
Read it like a poem
One that doesn’t make sense
Not what you intended
But it’s what you ended up with

Choose your own adventure, patches for the puncture
The poem took a different turn
We might have found the exit, it’s leaving if you let it
It’s probably time to sell the hurt, the argument no longer works

But you love it when it makes ‘em squirm
You’ll sell it all day long, your kingdom for a song
Your monsters gonna watch it burn

You’ll love it till it says no way
Till it leaves you with rusty blade
You love the monster that you’ve made
